What’s Included in the Training Course
The state-approved program includes nine sessions (an introduction, seven instructional modules, and a conclusion). You must complete each module and pass its quiz to continue. Topics include alcohol history, policy, licensing, retail sales laws, DUI/liquor liability, effects of alcohol, ID checking, refusal of service, and TIPS-style intervention.

Get Certified and Start Serving Legally in South Carolina
After completing the full program and passing all required tests, your information is transmitted to the SC Department of Revenue. You will then receive your official server certificate—valid for three years—available for download on MyDORway.
